Sea chefs is an international service provider in the areas of hotel, catering and crew management on board ocean and river cruise ships in the premium, luxury and expedition sectors.
To ensure that everything runs smoothly on board, our more than 200 employees at our locations in Switzerland, Germany, Malta and Cyprus support the approximately 15,000 crew members with great commitment and passion – from the administrative and operational areas, as well as recruiting and crewing, through to company management.
Your tasks
Assignment planning and coordination: Creation and coordination of assignment plans for crew members in the SPA & Sport area on board the Mein Schiff fleet and Hapag-Lloyd ships based on their qualifications and requirements.
Cooperation: Close cooperation with the sea chefs crewing department in Cyprus and the recruiting department in Switzerland.
Optimization and development: Identification of optimization potential for crew members and development of appropriate measures in cooperation with the Travelling Managers.
Career planning: Participation in career development planning for suitable crew members.
Recruitment support: Support at trade fairs and information events as well as at applicant interviews to recruit new crew members.
Administrative tasks: Various administrative activities and support with projects in the operational specialist area.
Your qualifications
What you bring with you:
Completed vocational training or studies in the fields of hospitality, tourism or human resources, or committed career changer with strong administrative know-how.
Professional experience on cruise ships is an advantage.
Additional knowledge in the areas of massage, cosmetics, nutrition and/or fitness is an advantage.
Independent and structured way of working, flexibility and strong organizational skills.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, reliability and integrity.
Confident handling of MS Office (incl. Excel).
Very good German and good written and spoken English skills.
Good general knowledge and good manners.
