Management Conference Center (m/f/d)

The Karimu International Conference Center is geographically located in the heart of Germany, between the Lahn, Siegerland and Westerwald in beautiful Burbach. As a Christian house, Karimu is supported by Wycliff e. V. and enables conferences and events of a high standard in a central location. The Karimu team lives the name, which comes from the African Kiswahili language and literally means hospitality, generosity and generosity. Karimu welcomes its guests in exactly this spirit. You and your team look after groups of guests and sometimes individuals with passion and empathy while keeping an eye on profitability. Optimizing turnover, occupancy and maintaining existing customers are just as much your goals as increasing awareness of Karimu and acquiring new customers in the surrounding area and throughout Germany. With genuine enthusiasm, you will succeed in highlighting the advantages and atmosphere of the hotel with its modular, daylight-flooded conference rooms with professional event technology and the wide range of conference services on offer. You position Karimu to companies and within the Wycliff network in the area of non-profit organizations as a temporary home for successful events and exploit synergies and potential.

You are a leader who offers a high degree of sales and customer orientation with very good communication and social skills. With a good command of English, you welcome your international guests. Ideally, you have experience in the hotel and event sector or have worked in key account management / sales in a comparable field. You know the needs of conference participants and hotel guests from your own experience. You do not have to be perfect as a manager, but you will always strive to maintain and develop the high level standard. Identification with the Christian orientation of the hotel and the organization as well as personal and time flexibility, e.g. for business trips or relevant events in the hotel, are a matter of course for you.

You will work independently and report directly to the board of the sponsoring association. The position is open-ended, based on a 40-hour week and is remunerated according to the task and competencies.
