Ship’s doctor (m/f/d)
Your previous course
- Completed training as a specialist in general medicine, surgery, internal medicine or anesthesia desirable
- Emergency doctor training (specialist certificate in emergency medical services or relevant experience in emergency medicine)
- Three years of recent professional experience in intensive care or emergency medicine
- Proof of a valid radiation protection course
- Knowledge of ultrasound diagnostics desirable
- Very good knowledge of English and confident in using MS Office 365
- A high sense of responsibility, empathy and ability to work independently
Your destination
- Qualified medical care for passengers and crew on board
- Management of consultation hours, care of passengers in the inpatient hospital area including the on-call service for guests and crew members
- First point of contact for the captain on medical and hygiene issues
- Regular organization of further training in first aid for the crew as well as ensuring the organizational and technically qualified operation of the clinic together with the shore-based medical department
- Involvement in ship-side reporting on medical, legal and organizational issues
